Actors Ensemble is proud to announce the third in our 2012 Spring Staged Reading Series, PSEUDOLUS, by the comic Roman playwright Plautus - his play THE MENAECHMI was the source for THE COMEDY OF ERRORS, also presented in our Spring Series, which in turn is the source for A HOT DAY IN EPHESUS, our 2012 Spring Musical.

A noted actor and historian falls off his horse whilst portraying the long-deceased Holy Roman Emperor Henry IV, and wakes up believing himself to be the same.

Improvised Theater at AE - a new experiment in scriptless performance by Actors Ensemble of Berkeley - featuring "The Streetlight People" and "The 5 Deadly Improvisers" with music by David Norfleet and Joey Hassid. There will be a special Zheng performance at intermission, an ancient classical instrument also known as the Chinese Zither, performed by Jing-Yi Chung  -  Download Flyer
