Travesties

By Tom Stoppard
Directed by Mikel Clifford

Set in Zurich, Switzerland during World War I, this fast-paced farce muses on the chance meeting of several literary and historical figures.

The story is told from inside the mind of Henry Carr, a minor British consular official who just happened to be in a production of The Importance of Being Earnest staged by James Joyce - while, at the same time, people such as Tristan Tzara and Lenin were in town.

Weaving words and wit, Carr relates what happened in Zurich in 1917 and what could have happened.CAST OF CHARACTERS
