Auditions for "Relatively Speaking"
Relatively Speaking is a 2011 anthology produced on Broadway of three plays: "Talking Cure" by Ethan Coen, "George is Dead" by Elaine May, and "Honeymoon Motel" by Woody Allen. Auditions will be held Saturday, November 9th from 12-3 PM and Monday, November 11th from 7-10 PM.
Audtions are at Live Oak Theatre, 1301 Shattuck Ave (at Berryman), Berkeley, CA 94703. Callbacks on Saturday, Nov. 16th, 12-3 PM. Non AEA/no pay. Please bring conflict info and a headshot/resume to audition. Actors Ensemble encourages members of the community to audition as well as those with acting experience. Flexible casting. As there are three one-acts, some roles may be doubled across the three plays. Performances begin Friday, January 3rd, 2013 at 8 p.m. and continue Friday and Saturdays thru January 25th. Sunday matinees January 12th and 19th at 2 p.m. Rehearsals will begin in late November.

Eddie - Jerry's friend
Paul Jessup. The groom. Jerry's stepson.
Judy Spector - The groom's mother.

Dr. Brill - a psychiatrist
Sal Buanocatti - a pizza delivery man
Talking Cure:
Larry - the patient, middle-aged.
Doctor - a psychiatrist in a mental hospital
Husband - Larry's father, in flashback
Wife - Larry's mother, in flashback
George is Dead:
Carla - a younger upper-class woman
Doreen - an older upper class woman. Old enough to be Carla's mother
Michael - Carla's boyfriend, high school teacher and human rights activist
